The New Quo Foundation is a non-profit building a nationwide movement countering division & isolation through free, community-led storytelling events & original media where people unite through their true stories of courage. Their model has been used to build new approaches to leadership & trust-building with over 31,000 people, with each individual's life story as the building block of this model.
Solution Smithing is a gathering series where an organization or individual advances a solution they're working through, & we bring together an outstanding group of people for an action-oriented discussion to engage in collective problem-solving. Come share your ideas, & learn from others exploring similar topics.
This time around, we'll focus on ways to help scale Change My Mind, a live storytelling event produced by The New Quo Foundation that unites people in person through their true stories of courage, with live personal storytelling performances & facilitation. Christina will share how the model behind Change My Mind works & we'll work together to brainstorm how it can scale to other locations & cities while maintaining its core principles. What models for combating loneliness & isolation exist out there, & how could this event & facilitation structure be replicated throughout the country & beyond? How can this solution adapt, change, & be led differently in different places?
