Please join us for a special evening with WeatherBug & SameDay Security to learn how they are using AR/VR technology to create innovative products & deliver new value to their customers. They will share their motivation for embracing AR/VR as well as a demonstration of the solution they built using Amazon Sumerian. This will be followed by a facilitated conversation & open, interactive Q&A with attendees.

Augmented reality (AR) & virtual reality (VR) are transforming how people interact with the world via sophisticated, engaging, & immersive experiences. To accelerate the development of this market, AWS has created Sumerian - a platform that makes it possible to develop & deploy AR, VR, & 3D applications across platforms with minimal coding or design experience. Sumerian provides all the capabilities needed to design, power, & deliver these experiences, including importing & manipulating 3D objects, adding audio, creating animations, & more. It also provides the backend to seamlessly integrate into the full suite of AWS products & services.

Creating & Publishing AR Scenes on Mobile Phones with Weatherbug General Manager, Olivier Vincent

Weatherbug, a mobile weather & advertising platform, will discuss using Amazon Sumerian to create & publish augmented reality scenes on mobile phones.

Interacting with Customers through AR with SameDay Security CTO, Bryan Chasko & Tech Lead, 3D Modeling, Judah Tvieto

SameDay Security, a home health automation company, will share their experience leveraging Sumerian hosts to interact with partners & customers on web browsers, kiosks & in-home interfaces.
