We're back again for a second summer of immersive tech showcases! Last year, we got all 150 of you to come play, try VR, & mingle with fellow creatives. This year, we've partnered with the largest global virtual & augmented reality content platform, Littlstar, to bring you the latest in immersive AR & VR experiences. Live VR paintings, AR demos, & a special food VR experience (eating & VR-ing? yes please.)!
This is one not to be missed.

Micah404, ART404, Live VR Painting Performance
Micah404 is a New York based VR artist & member of the collective ART404, he gained notoriety in 2015 as a 2d illustrator with his instagram project @micahnotfound. He has since jumped headfirst into VR illustration, becoming one of the most active VR painters in the community. Working with clients including Adobe, Pantone & Google he continues to push boundaries using unconventional methods & original workflow approaches to create his art.
Samuel Lee, Experience Designer, Building AR Experiences Demo
Chef Jenny Dorsey, Food VR Experience
Chef Jenny Dorsey is a professional chef & creative person based in New York City. She makes food toexpress the full range of human emotions - even thosenot well-suited for Instagram. Chef Dorsey believes food has a special way of exposing the banal routine & social norms we findourselves in.
At the beginning of 2017, she had an epiphany (at acupuncture) to use augmented & virtual reality to make her work more impactful. Ever since that strange day, she's been experimenting with these emerging technologiesand how she can marryfood with it in immersive new ways for social good. She has no idea where this road will lead her, what excitements & failures it has in store, but at least she'll never wake up & wonder "what if?".
Her mission is to use culinary arts asa platform to evoke introspection, empathy & real emotion. Sometimes her food orthe environments she creates make people uncomfortable, & that's the point. She doesn't plan on being complicit with the way things are; she wants to change the world with her art, even if it's just one honest conversation at a time.
