The recent fires in Southern Europe & France were a major reminder that climate change is not merely a weather risk, buried in sustainability reports. The fires hurt tourism, wine making & other agro-industries, electricity, transportation & supply chains. In France, more than 120,000 workers were temporarily unable to work. More than 14 were killed & roughly 350,000 were displaced from their homes.
