Susannah Shipton is a Partner at AlleyCorp, the venture builder behind companies such as Business Insider, MongoDB ($25B database unicorn), Zola (wedding marketplace unicorn), Gilt Groupe, Nomad Health, & many others; & also owner of companies such as Meetup! She is dedicated to diversified tech investments, with a special focus on eCommerce, marketplaces, & consumer-facing software & products. Besides her investment work, Susannah is deeply involved with AlleyCorp's incubations & early portfolio companies, actively supporting them from their initial stages.
Before her tenure at AlleyCorp, Susannah held the position of Director of Strategy & Operations at Artsy, where she was a vital part of the leadership team for five years, navigating the company from series A through series E.
