Founders & Friends in Tech - Lessons from a Professional Matchmaker Fireside Chat & Mixer
Calling all the single ladies & single gentlemen of the NYC tech community! (Founders, techies, friends in business, law, finance + adjacent professions are welcome) Tired of swiping left & right & endless conversations & ghosting? Ever feel like dating in NYC requires so much effort & yet yields so little ROI (return on investment)?
We are planning on a fun & intimate fireside chat with 2 matchmakers from Tawkify (a premier matchmaking service). They matchmake singles for a living! We will learn more about a day in the life of a matchmaker, what single men & women are looking for, common dating mistakes & struggles, how dating in NYC compares to dating in other cities, how to attract the right kind of person, how to handle rejection, & many more spicy topics
There will be time for mixing, mingling, & commiserating about dating in NYC, over complimentary alcohol & light dinner. Thank you Tawkify & launch house for making this event possible!
There are only spots for up to 20 men & 20 women, so sign up ASAP! Momos with >3,500 momos will be guaranteed a spot if you sign up by Jan 30. Fill out your profile as much as possible to help us with curation. Attendance will be taken at the door & only approved RSVPs will be allowed in.
Pre-work: In addition to the topics above, we'll be discussing the ins & outs of matchmaking - from setting up profiles to setting up dates. To familiarize yourself with matchmaking before the event, you'll create your FREE Tawkify profile which will take a few minutes ($99 value). No credit card is required. You will then also get the chance to be matched with Tawkify's clients. How does it work? "When we see potential between you & a client, you'll meet with a matchmaker over Zoom so we can learn more about you & your preferences. If it's a match, we'll plan a date to introduce you two."
