About the speaker:
As a highly energetic strategy & innovation leader, Maryam has spent her life propelling change & creating purposeful impact.
After living, working & studying across 4 continents, she founded Innovation Bazar, a global consulting & training agency based in NYC offering consulting, training, & mentoring services to -startups, universities, Fortune 500 firms, & nonprofit organizations- in the areas of product management, innovation, growth strategy, experience design, design thinking, UX/UI design & sustainability.
She partners with her clients to unlock their business potentials & spark positive change through leveraging a research based, purpose-driven & experience-led approach that is a blend of human-centered design with lean startup, agile, strategy & systems thinking.
Passionate about inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs & innovators, Maryam teaches Graduate, MBA & Executive courses at esteemed universities & EDTech companies including, NYU, MIT Sloan, Tec de Monterrey University, EGADE Business School, 2U, & CareerFoundry both in-person & virtually.
She enjoys empowering students to master the necessary skills, by motivating them to stay engaged, providing feedback & sharing examples of her day-to-day work with them.
She also advises world class startup founders at various incubators & accelerators including XRC Ventures, WEVE, Techstars, NYU Entrepreneurial Institute & SongHan; serves on a couple of advisory boards: & shares her insights through speaking & panel engagements in the areas of product management, innovation, entrepreneurship, design thinking, CX strategy, sustainability & UX/UI design.
Maryam's career includes leadership roles at IBM, First Republic Bank, Mark Giusti, & the Neiman Marcus Group.
