Chintan Turakhia is Executive Vice President of Strategic Research & Innovations at SSRS. He has over 26 years of survey research experience & has expertise in all phases of survey research. His extensive experience includes design & implementation of large-scale studies in Public/Social policy, Litigation, Political Research, Education, Housing, & Healthcare.
He works with a diverse set of public & private sector clients in developing custom solutions for their research needs. In addition, he serves as Project Quality Advisor on a wide range of SSRS projects to ensure the highest quality research results for the clients. He has served as the president of New York Chapter of American Association of Public Opinion Research (2017-18).
Chintan is a nationally renowned expert on probability based on-line panels & data collection platforms. His extensive experience includes establishment of first ever face-to-face recruited internet survey platform (FRISP) in 2008-2009. This nationally representative on-line panel was established in collaboration with Stanford University with funding from NSF under Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Program. After that, Chintan helped design & establish the nationally representative on-line panel called The American Trends Panel for Pew Research Center (pewresearch.org). He recently designed & established a large-scale probability-based panel for Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. He presently leads the probability based SSRS Opinion Panel SSRS Text Message Panel at SSRS.
SCOTT MCDONALD, PH.D., CEO & President, ARF - Evolving Approaches to Market & Media Research: Impact of Pandemic & Privacy-Related Disruptions
Scott McDonald became the CEO & President of the Advertising Research Foundation in March 2017. Prior to joining the ARF, he held senior research positions at leading global media companies, including 18 years at Time Warner, & 14 years at Conde Nast, covering both the consumer & the advertising sides of the media business. Throughout his career, he has kept a foot in both the academic & business worlds, teaching for 5 years at NYU & for 18 years at Columbia Business School. He serves as an adviser to the Social Science Matrix Program at UC Berkeley, & is on the Board of the Population Reference Bureau. An avid art lover, he also is on the board of the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He holds an A.B. degree from UC Berkeley & a Ph.D. from Harvard University.
KRISTEN SOSULSKI, Clinical Associate Professor of Technology, Operations, & Statistics, New York University's Stern School of Business- Data Visualization Made Simple
Kristen Sosulski is a Clinical Associate Professor of Technology, Operations, & Statistics at New York University's Stern School of Business. She teaches data visualization, computer programming in Python & R, & experiential courses in operations management to MBA students. Professor Sosulski is also the Executive Director of the Learning Science Lab at NYU Stern School of Business where she leads a team to design immersive online & onsite learning environments for professional business school education.
Professor Sosulski's scholarship focuses on the intersection of technology, business, & education. She recently published her third book, Data Visualization Made Simple: Insights into Becoming Visual. She is the co-author of the Essentials of Online Course Design: A standards-based guide (Routledge, 2011, second edition, Routledge, 2015) & the Savvy Student's Guide to Online Learning (Routledge, 2013). She is regularly interviewed by the press on various topics related to women in the workplace, women pursuing careers in technology, data visualization practices, online education, & educational technology.
Professor Sosulski received her Ed.D, Ed.M, & M.A. from Columbia University. Her B.S. is from NYU Stern School of Business in Information Systems & Management.

Andrew A. Beveridge, Ph.D., is Co-Founder & President of Social Explorer & Emeritus Professor of Sociology at Queens College & the Graduate School & University Center of the City University of New York.
He & his team developed Social Explorer (www.socialexplorer.com) that allows user to visualize & make reports on change in the US from 1790 to the present. Funded by the National Science Foundation, an academic edition is licensed to roughly 400 college & universities libraries. A professional edition is used by several hundred non-profit & governmental entities, as well as by businesses. A new product to address the real estate industry TractIQ has been launched. Vizualist, a product to create interactive charts, maps, tables, & graphs & publish them using a web based CDN is licensed across all higher education to Pearson, & other publishers. The company has won six awards, including two Webby Honorees in 20014 & 2015, & a Webby in 2016.
Since 1993, Dr. Beveridge has been a consultant to the New York Times, which has published numerous news reports & maps based upon his analysis of the Census data & is a user of Social Explorer A volume he edited with David Halle of UCLA: New York & Los Angeles: The Uncertain Future was published in 2013 by Oxford University Press. He has published numerous articles in scholarly journals. He received his Ph.D. & M.Phil. in sociology from Yale University & his B.A with honors in economics from Yale College. Before coming to CUNY, he taught for 8 years at Columbia. He has received grant & fellowship support from the American Council of Learned Societies, the National Science Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, & many other agencies. He also has been involved with numerous consulting engagements many related to Civil Rights litigation. He was awarded the Public Understanding of Sociology Award by the American Sociological Association in 2007.

Juan Carlos Donoso is a senior research scientist in the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Donoso is a political scientist whose research focuses on public opinion & political attitudes. He has significant experience managing complex multi-mode surveys in the United States, Europe, & Latin America.
