In this session, John "Kiffmeister" Kiff discusses the latest updates (and boy are there tons of it) in the retail CBDC space, drawing from our recent engagement with central banks, academic material & news to help interpret what it all means & where it is all heading.
John Kiff, now retired from the IMF, was Senior Financial Sector Expert at the International Monetary Fund since 2005. Prior to joining the Fund, Kiffmeister worked at Bank of Canada, where he was involved in various financial markets analytic & trading activities.
