The fall 2022 Current Work series examines projects & firms enacting new modes of architectural practice, collaboration, & community engagement.
A Model of Architecture for Society (MASS) Design Group was founded in 2008 as a nonprofit organization with the mission to research, design, build, & advocate for architecture that promotes justice & human dignity. With offices across the U.S. & headquarters in Boston & Kigali, Rwanda, the organization traverses geographic, typological, & disciplinary boundaries. Since its founding, MASS has grown to a team of over 200 architects, landscape architects, engineers, builders, furniture designers, writers, filmmakers, & researchers representing 20 countries across the globe.
