Sallyann "Sally" Parker Nichols
President, Bloom Farms Distribution; President, Bloom Farms CBD; Co-Founder, GirlVentures
Sallyann Parker Nichols is a pioneering investor & executive in the cannabis & hemp CBD markets. Following her investment in Bloom Farms, Sallyann joined the Company's executive team & now serves as Bloom Farms' President of Distribution & President of CBD, leading the Company's recent nationwide entry into premium hemp-derived CBD products. As head of distribution, she built & leads a proprietary, scalable, compliant platform to provide sales, retailer support, warehousing & fulfillment for the Company's products & premium third-party brands.
Sallyann & her team manage key partnerships for Bloom Farms, including its role as exclusive launch partner for the Era device & ongoing relationship as one of Pax's largest device & pod sellers. Bloom Farms announced a program to support continued diversity in the California cannabis industry by having 50% of its suppliers be women-owned or minority-operated businesses.
Prior to entering the cannabis industry, Sallyann was a highly successful entrepreneur in technology businesses including online education & healthcare technology & was a senior executive at a leading internet incubator. Sallyann holds a BA in International Relations & completed graduate studies in that field at USC. She later received a Certificate in Creative Writing/Fiction from UCLA.
David Heldreth
Chief Science Officer, True Terpenes
If you combine 2 parts Walter Cronkite, 1 part Hunter S. Thompson, 1 part Mr. Wizard & roll it into a joint with some high terpene plants, you'd get a pretty good idea of who David Heldreth is.
Heldreth's work cultivating & educating patients with medical cannabis collectives led him to the Werc Shop & Jeffrey Raber, pioneers in cannabis analytical testing. Werc Shop & Raber were offering terpene & cannabinoid profiling services to growers around 2010. These early tests alerted Heldreth to the existence of terpenes, cannabidiol, the entourage effect & the numerous other compounds the plant created. Heldreth said the ability to test for terpenes allowed him to give patients a more reproducible experience & to identify what was helping them in these varieties. The knowledge of terpenes & ability to test for them also led Heldreth to develop his company Panacea Plant Sciences & patent formulas for cultivators to increase terpenes & potency in cannabis. He is now sharing the variety of medical, botanical, & economic data on terpenes he's accumulated with the True Terpenes audience through his role as our marketing content manager in addition to trying to educate the masses on plant medicine.
