It's the 4th Annual New York is Creative, hosted at Newlab!
New York is Creative is a fast, heartfelt celebration of the messy, personal, beautiful process of making. It's a stage for the side projects, the experiments, the unfinished things that kept you curious or kept you going.
Come cheer on your fellow community members as they share their creative works in progress, daydreams, & masterpieces with us.
WHAT TO EXPECT
8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Enjoy free coffee & breakfast while you meet & mingle with your fellow NYC creatives & create some hand-made signs to cheer on your friends!
9:00 AM-10:00AM
The Show begins! We'll kick off with a musical performance. Then, community members (that's you!) will take the stage to share about a creative project you've been working on! Each person will have 90 seconds to share their projects. Yes, it's fast! We aim to include as many people as possible. Expect it to be zany & amazing!
Not interested in presenting? We still need you! We can't wait to have you in the audience to cheer on your fellow NYC'ers with all the love this community is known for. Your generosity & encouragement sets the tone for the experience & makes it the magical space that it is!
HOW TO APPLY
Whether you make postcards, play music, write poetry, nurture plant life, or doodle all day, you can apply to share it with the CM/NYC community! So long as you are showcasing your creativity (and not selling something or pitching), we're here for it!
Submissions will be open through Sunday, July 6th at 5pm EST. You got this! Learn more & apply to share your work!
