DETAILS

Ten emerging technology companies have been selected to participate in the 2023 FinTech Innovation Lab New York, a 12-week program founded & run by Accenture & the Partnership Fund for New York City that helps early- & growth-stage fintechs accelerate product & business development through in-depth engagement with top financial services & venture capital executives.

This year's participants, selected from more than 200 applicants globally, are focused on some of the industry's most important issues - including cybersecurity, risk, sustainability, & the use of AI & data & analytics to improve the customer experience & business outcomes.

The 2023 FinTech Innovation Lab New York participants are:

55/Redefined (London) - whose platforms enable businesses to attract, engage & retain employees & customers 55 years & older.
Argus Inc (New York) - whose employee trade compliance software for crypto helps combat insider trading, front-running, & conflicts of interest.
bfore.ai (Montpellier, France) - whose predictive cybersecurity solution can predict threats weeks in advance of an attack & block them before any attack is made.
billy (New York) - whose solution gives construction contractors a single place to collect, track & purchase insurance.
Breakthru (New York) - whose platform pays students to learn about companies' opportunities/services & then spend through their first digital wallet.
Diveplane (Raleigh, NC) - which helps businesses solve data availability problems by generating synthetic data that is private, fully auditable & usable for any task.
Jaid (London) - whose AI-powered solution reads, interprets & manages human communications to automate mundane tasks & resolve customer queries.
Lab 1 (London) - whose data contextualization & reporting tool can analyze compromised data & offer real-time alerts & impact summaries for data incidents.
Responsive AI (Vancouver) - whose platform aggregates existing & new data sources to help wealth managers detect revenue opportunities & compliance risks & provide personalized client advice & engagement.
Spiral (New York) - whose platform helps financial institutions amplify customer engagement & retention by embedding sustainability, social impact, & ESG solutions into their existing product offerings.
Now in its 13th year, the New York Lab remains a critical connection point between fintechs & leading financial services institutions, fostering collaboration & innovation, said David Treat, a senior managing director at Accenture & co-chair of the FinTech Innovation Lab New York. We welcome this year's class & are eager to help them refine, test & scale their solutions, working alongside our industry partners. Through innovative technologies, these fintechs & insurtechs are reimagining how the financial services industry operates & the experiences it can deliver to customers.

Maria Gotsch, president & CEO of the Partnership Fund for New York City & co-founder of the FinTech Innovation Lab New York, added: With New York as a leading global financial center, this new cohort of companies will collaborate with the world's biggest financial service firms to address top technology priorities while prioritizing compliance, improving the customer experience & helping create a stronger, more secure financial system for both national & regional economies.

The lab will conclude with the 10 companies delivering in-person presentations on their progress to executives across the banking, insurance, capital markets & venture capital sectors in late June.

Since its founding in 2010, the FinTech Innovation Lab New York has assisted entrepreneurs from 99 technology companies. These program graduates have created more than 2,500 jobs & raised more than US$2.5 billion in venture financing, & 24 of them have been acquired.
