NYSERDA Offshore Wind, along with NYC Economic Development Corporation is holding our second annual Academic Symposium, bringing together institutions of higher education with offshore wind training programs to facilitate conversation between stakeholders about opportunities to improve workforce training & create pathways for young people to pursue careers in offshore wind. This year, K-12 school counselors & educators are invited to join in the conversation.
NYSERDA is hosting all universities, colleges, & community colleges with offshore wind training programs for the second annual Academic Symposium. This year we'll also invite K-12 school counselors & educators. The goal is to facilitate conversation between stakeholders about opportunities to improve workforce training & create pathways for young people to pursue careers in offshore wind. The run of show is 12:00pm - 4:30 pm program, 4:30pm - 6:30pm networking & internship matchmaking. We are expecting 75 people & holding the event at EDC's offices in Manhattan (One Liberty Plaza).
