Princeton University is coming to NYC. Join the Princeton Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence (AI Lab) to learn how we are advancing AI at Princeton through a set of ambitious, interdisciplinary research initiatives spanning science, society, & next-generation AI systems.
The evening, which will be held at Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures' office, will feature lightning talks introducing the AI Lab's first three research initiatives, followed by networking with faculty, industry leaders, & partners. We invite your insights as we explore opportunities for collaboration, partnership, & how to move at the speed of AI discovery together.
This event is by invitation only. Due to building security requirements, only guests with confirmed registration will be admitted.
Below are the AI Lab's three research initiatives:
AI for Accelerating Invention
AI for Accelerating Invention uses AI to fundamentally change the process of invention - from design, to simulation, to fabrication, to control. Among the challenges it will tackle: containing plasma & revolutionizing material design & structure.
Natural & Artificial Minds
Natural & Artificial Minds takes advantage of advances in AI to study natural & artificial minds in parallel, creating the opportunity to make discoveries about ourselves & to find new ways to understand & improve AI systems.
Princeton Language & Intelligence
Princeton Language & Intelligence (PLI) seeks to develop fundamental understanding of large AI models; enable their application to research & education across academic disciplines; & study societal & ethical implications of AI as well as develop methods to avert any harms.
