Sankofa Haus was founded by Bronx Native DJ Spynfo. also known as Mr. Matrimony. Spynfo is an established DJ & Events Coordinator with over 20 years in the entertainment industry. The Sankofa Haus concept was created to provide a unique space for upscale Micro/Small events & burgeoning entrepreneurs in the Tri-State. Sankofa is an African Proverb originating in Ghana meaning Go Back & Get It. In order for society to move forward, we must collectively retrieve knowledge from the past to create better opportunities for the future.Inspired by the rich culture & traditions of the African continent, Sankofa Haus intends to be a modern event space that engages your visual & auditory senses through music, books, art & greenery.
