Andres Wydler
Executive Director of StartOut
Andres Wydler is the Executive Director of StartOut, the largest national nonprofit organization supporting LGBTQ entrepreneurs. He has two decades of successful start-up experience as a co-founder, executive, angel investor, advisor, & board member.

Andres' career focused on corporate & business development, predominantly with early stage technology firms. Over the last decade, he raised equity & debt financing from first tier VCs, investment banks, strategic investors, & economic development partners. He secured government funds to augment private capital & completed acquisitions in the US, Europe, & Latin America. Most of his director & advisor positions focused on fast growing software & clean tech companies.

Andres also co-founded an angel group that invested in & exited tech firms with cross-border strategies, & continues to be active in the space.

Andres earned an MBA from Stanford & a JD equivalent (lic. iur.) from the University of Zurich's law school. He developed & lectured a course on Clean Tech Entrepreneurship at Stanford University's continuing studies program.

Juliette-Marie Somerset is CEO & Managing Partner at Somerset Capital based in Menlo Park, California where she is an investor in early-stage global startups. She is on the Board of Advisors at UniRock Partners, an investment firm, based in Brisbane, Queensland. As a woman in tech leadership she has seats on the Board of Directors & Board of Advisors of technology companies. She is an Advisor at the Norrsken Impact Accelerator in Stockholm, Sweden. Juliette-Marie is a Milestone Maker mentor at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center based in San Francisco & also a mentor at CV Labs based in Switzerland's Crypto Valley. She is currently a guest lecturer at ESCP Business School in Berlin & recently joined the Board of Advisors at UniRock Partners based in Brisbane, Queensland.

As a global tech investor, she has a focus on three areas of disruptive technology at the heart of today's global startup ecosystem: AI, Blockchain Technology applications & Fintech & social impact. Disruptive technologies can be used to empower people to drive innovation.

Educated at Yale University & Columbia University she thrives on being a collaborative partner with ambitious company builders & promoting opportunities in technology for women, minorities & LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs. Juliette-Marie shares a passion & commitment to creating a culture of innovation & equality to unlock human potential, particularly in inclusion & diversity. Yasir Fattah, based in New York, helps lead Investor Relations Strategy for the Corporate Platforms division at Nasdaq He oversees the company's Advisory Services business in Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia. He also oversees Nasdaq's operations in the Philippines.

Yasir has over 20 years of experience partnering with global business professionals in the corporate market, including Investor Relations, Public Relations & Communications. Prior to Joining Nasdaq in 2013, Yasir served as Head of U.S. West Coast Operations for the Corporate Services unit of Thomson Reuters.

Yasir is also the Co-Chair of Nasdaq's The OPEN (Out, Proud Employees of Nasdaq), Nasdaq's employee network for LGBTQ+ employees, their families & allies. The goals of The OPEN are to champion LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace, promote career development & mentorship opportunities for employees, host social events for employees & allies & engage in volunteerism efforts that support the needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
