Basic Python Games will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019The goal for this event is to use Python to implement a simple console-based game to gain practice using Python to solve problems!The games for this meetup will be:1) Grasshopper (a 1D game, to be described later)2) The classic game of Connect Four (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connect_Four)The focus will be on Python programming but feel free to bring your own languageCome join us, try to implement one (or both) games by yourself or as part of a team.Rules for both will be provided around a week before the event!AGENDA:6:30 pm - Meet & greet6:45 pm - Intro & Q&A about the game of the night8:30 pm - Begin wrap-up8:50 pm - 3 - 5 teams can volunteer to give 5-minute talks about their solution (or proposed solution if not finished)9:30 pm - Everyone goes home happy!LEVEL:We welcome people of all Python skill levels. The goal is to learn & to have fun while working on a new problem. We have both an easier game & a more advanced game for you to implement. Bring a friend or two to pair up, or make new friends at the event!
