Artificial intelligence is reshaping digital creation-transforming static visuals into responsive, real-time experiences. From virtual performers to interactive avatars, new AI models are enabling digital characters that think, move, & adapt with human-like realism.
This panel brings together experts from academia & industry for a deep dive into the technologies driving next-generation realism. Speakers will explore how diffusion models, transformer architectures, GAN pipelines, & 3D neural representations are converging to produce convincing, stable, & controllable digital humans. The discussion will highlight both the breakthroughs & the bottlenecks in building real-time generative character systems-and what these innovations mean for the future of storytelling, design, & interactive media.
The panel will include Yajie Zhao (Research Assistant Professor, University of Southern California), Ondrej Texler (Principal Research Scientist, ValkaAI) & Lukas Tencer (CTO, Reinforce Labs & ex-Googler).
