Meet the speakers:
Matt Eggers is an investor for Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV), the $2B climate tech venture capital fund. His combined BEV & angel portfolio includes 75F Inc, ZeroAvia, WeaveGrid, Aeroseal, LuxWall, Zymergen, Omnidian, Phylagen, Energetic Insurance, Faraday Bicycles, & others. He serves on the board of 75F, ZeroAvia, Aeroseal, LuxWall, & Posigen & is a co-founder of Rooted Relationships.
Paul Straub is a co-founder & Managing Director at Wireframe Ventures, where he invests in founders on a mission to improve the health of people & the planet. He led investments in Electriphi (acq. by Ford), OpenInvest (acq. by JP Morgan), Span.IO, Trove.co, LevelTen Energy, MycoWorks, Gridware, Near Space Labs, Full Harvest Technologies, Recurrent Auto, Xtelligent.io, & Renew Financial.
Shilpi Kumar is a Partner with Urban Us, an investment platform focused on urbantech & climate solutions. She specializes in customer development & product strategy for early-stage companies, with experience as both a consultant & early employee. She previously led go-to-market & early sales efforts at Filament, a startup focused on deploying secure wireless networks for connected physical assets. Before Urban Us, Shilpi worked with with VTF, First Round Capital, & Village Global. Shilpi graduated from Duke University with a degree in Neuroscience & Economics.
