<A HREF="https://twitter.com/fran_hauser" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow">Fran Hauser</A> is a venture capital investor, digital media veteran, as well as an advocate for women and kids. She is passionate about connecting people and inspiring change. An active investor, Fran is a partner at Rothenberg Ventures. Within her personal portfolio, she was the first investor in online retailer ZADY and an early funder of LevoLeague. Before diving into the world of venture capital, Fran spent fifteen years in the digital media space, holding President and General Manager positions at Time Inc., AOL, and Moviefone. She played an integral role in the US$400mm sale of Moviefone to AOL and in building PEOPLE.com into one of the most successful women's websites. A passionate advocate of women and children around the globe, Fran is a funder of the PBS documentary Half the Sky, Board Chair of GlobalGiving, and an advisory board member of Helpusadopt.

<A HREF="http://pipelinefellowship.com" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow">Pipeline Fellowship</A>, an angel investing bootcamp for women,is changing the face of angel investing and creating capital for women social entrepreneurs.
Pipeline Fellowship's three main criteria are: a) Meeting one of the <A HREF="http://www.sec.gov/answers/accred.htm" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow">accredited investor</A> definitions (i.e., US$200K in income or US$300K joint income with spouse for the past two years, or US$1M net worth) b) Interest in group learning model c) Passion for philanthropy and/or social change
For most of the <A HREF="http://www.pipelinefellowship.com/fellows" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow">Pipeline Fellows</A>, this is their first angel investment. They are attracted by the program's three components (education, mentoring, practice) and benefit from the diversity of each cohort. Pipeline Fellows are intergenerational (ranging from late twenties to 60+) and come from a variety of professional backgrounds.
Pipeline Fellowship has opened a call for applications for its spring 2015 programs in Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, DC, Detroit, Memphis, Miami, NYC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis.
