Welcome to Startup Oasis!
If you are a startup founder, investor, developer, marketer, or anyone else in the tech ecosystem looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you! Entrepreneurs pitch their startup or business to the audience; then, they will join their own breakout room to get feedback from the attendees. People have been able to start a business as a result of this process. If you would like to pitch, please RSVP here, & you can sign up on the day of the event.
We are visiting NYC & will have this special event at WeWork in SoHo - look for the flyers & greeters on the ground floor! WeWork will be raffling off prizes including a free work day at this office!
Schedule:
2:00 PM - Doors Open: networking with complementary food & drinks!
2:25 - Founders are chosen to pitch, sign up at the check-in table to pitch
2:30 - Startup Oasis Begins, Founders Pitch.
3:00 to 5:00 PM - Founders break off into break-out rooms, & attendees can move around & help one for the remainder of the time, similar to a hackathon.
Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups & tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.
