In the Frame of See|Me Gallery Exhibition: Past Perfect/ Present Tense
Overview
Past Perfect / Present Tense brings together the work of seven international artists whose practices explore the powerful dialogue between the past & the present. Through a range of media, techniques, & conceptual approaches, these artists reflect on how history continues to inform, energize, & challenge contemporary art & culture.
The exhibition examines the ways in which artists draw inspiration from the rich legacies of past art movements, masterworks, & ideologies, reinterpreting them through a modern lens. Each piece engages in a thoughtful conversation with artistic traditions-reviving classical forms, revisiting historical techniques, & reimagining inherited narratives to illuminate the complexities of the present moment.
By weaving together historical resonance & contemporary expression, Past Perfect / Present Tense invites viewers to consider how echoes of the past continue to shape our understanding of art, identity, & innovation today.
