Join us for a conversation about building for good with Eliza Arnold, Joe Federer & Alison Diamond.
About this event
How can founders weave impact into their own entrepreneurial journey & why is it important in today's climate?
On June 15th, Eliza Arnold (Co-Founder @ Arnie), Alison Diamond (CEO & Co-Founder @ JYBE), & Joe Federer (Author) join us to discuss the ins & outs of mission-driven startups & share their advice for entrepreneurs.
About the speakers:
- Author of The Hidden Psychology of Social Networks & former head of Brand Strategy at Reddit, Joe Federer runs a social media agency called [An Internet Reference]. Joe's approach to building best-in-class social strategies for the world's largest brands is rooted in cultural immersion over digital disruption.
- Eliza Arnold is the co-founder of Arnie, a new 401k platform helping you retire in a world worth living in. Arnie is replacing the traditional 401k, using custom indexing to allow employees to personalize their 401k to their own set of environmental & social values, so you can invest in what you believe in & divest from what you don't.
- Alison Diamond is a strong leader with an unshakable determination to help solve the world's single-use plastic crisis. At JYBE, she oversees optimization of the app to ensure a positive user experience that provides a trusted source of sustainable packaging information amid a market filled with greenwashing. She is passionate about debunking the notion that plastic is cheaper, & works diligently with restaurant partners to help them transition to affordable eco-friendly package options.
With a mission-driven background, Alison brings more than a decade of experience in both private & not-for-profit ventures with a focus on nationwide partnerships & operations. Most recently as Director, Organizer Success at Goldstar Events, Alison led a team that supported more than 6,000 event organizer partners nationwide. Previously she worked as a manager in business operations at FamilyFINDS, a daily deal website with 300K subscribers, through its merger with CertifiKids.
