Who are the major donors to campaigns during an election year? What do individual contributions look like? Do software engineers tend to donate to a specific party? What can we discover by looking at the data? Alexis Mikaelian will walk us through a public data project sparked by a recent discussion at Enigma about the midterm elections, what its like to dive into something data-first, & all the project hiccups & pivots along the way.

Kristen received her doctorate in Communications, Computing, & Technology in Education from Columbia University. Her B.S. is from NYU Stern School of Business in Information Systems.
