7:00-7:15pm An Exploration in Public Data: The Non-Mega Donors of the 2018 Midterms

Who are the major donors to campaigns during an election year? What do individual contributions look like? Do software engineers tend to donate to a specific party? What can we discover by looking at the data? Alexis Mikaelian will walk us through a public data project sparked by a recent discussion at Enigma about the midterm elections, what its like to dive into something data-first, & all the project hiccups & pivots along the way.
