Access to financial capital is the number one barrier facing women entrepreneurs. In Canada, over 70% of women-led businesses start their companies with less than $5,000.
Most banks & investors don't come into the picture until a later stage. At the same time, knowing if you should invest in your own company is a big decision. How do you validate your idea? In this session we explore why women are choosing crowdfunding & why crowdfunding is the only avenue where women are outperforming men when raising funds.
