We have a NEW LOCATION & DIFFERENT DAY OF WEEK for this event!
For our fourth meetup of 2025, we're extremely excited to a talk by Michael Gattozzi (Influx Data) entitled I can't believe that's legal Rust! Lesser known tips & tricks for writing & organizing your Rust code.
Michael is a prolific speaker & has spoken at RustConf 2024 about What happens when you run `cargo build`?, at RustConf 2022 about Weird expressions & where to find them, at RustLatam 2019 about Defense Against The Wrong Logic: Proactive Rust Coding, & at RustConf 2017 about Shipping a solid Rust crate. He is currently a senior software engineer at InfluxDB.
He can be found on Twitter as @mgattozzi & on BlueSky as [@mgattozzi.dev](https://bsky.app/profile/mgattozzi.dev).
Come on down to a new location: "The studio" (10th floor) at 7WTC at 250 Greenwich Street & on a different day of week: Wednesday! Doors open at 6:30pm to give people plenty of time to grab pizza & socialize, & then the talk starts at 7:30!
It should be a good time! Hope to see you there!
We're extremely excited to announce that Lawrence Harvey is Rust NYC's official recruitment partner sponsor!
The space was generously sponsored by Eulith, which provides asset managers & accredited investors with insured, cutting-edge technology & financial services to access & manage capital on-chain & is a heavy user of Rust!
