Having a solid go-to market strategy (how you plan to get customers to buy your product or service) is the key to building a scalable & profitable business. Typically in investor presentations, the go-to-market slides are almost always generic. Nine times out of ten, the strategy consists of creating ads on Facebook & Instagram stories, partnering with influencers, getting on billboards, placing subway ads, & buying keywords for search engine optimization (SEO). Most investor pitches are devoid of creative solutions for how to get into the hearts & minds of customers.
As a business owner, your job is to figure out how to get your target customer to purchase your product or service with ease. If you cannot articulate how you're going to conquer your share of the market, it sends a signal to investors that you are not prepared to rapidly scale. When founders expect someone else on the team (a.k.a. the head of marketing) to find the silver bullet, it's also a major red flag. Having a solid grasp on the fundamental difference between basic tactics & a real marketing strategy is imperative for any entrepreneur.
In this workshop you will learn:
- The difference between vision, strategy & tactics
- How to develop a compelling & unique go-to-market strategy for your
- How to put measures in place to ensure that your tactics are working
