Join Female Founders Fund in conversation with Lydia Jett, senior member of the global growth equity investment team at the SoftBank Vision Fund.

Lydia has been with SoftBank since 2015 & currently is on the board of Coupang, Fanatics, Fetch Robotics, Flipkart & Tokopedia. As a growth stage investor she focuses on the eCommerce, consumer internet & fintech sectors.

Lydia will share more about her experience as a growth stage investor in today's climate, & themes she is excited about in 2019. She will share more about the SoftBank Vision Fund's investment strategy of investing in businesses & foundational platforms that SoftBank believes to revolutionize & innovate the world tomorrow.

As a female leader within the growth equity venture ecosystem, Lydia will also speak about her experience in successfully navigating the world of investing & where she sees the future of investing.

Anu is the Founding Partner of Female Founders Fund, an early-stage fund investing in technology companies started by women. Female Founders Fund has invested in some of the fastest growing female-led start-ups nationwide including: Eloquii, WayUp, Tala, Zola, Primary, Thrive Global, WinkyLux, Billie & more. In 2018, Anu was included in Fortune's 40 Under 40 list, & she has been praised for her impact in diversifying venture capital with additional distinctions including Business Insider's Ultimate List of Female Startup Investors, & Top 4 Venture Firms Investing in Women. Anu began her tech career as a co-founder of Exclusively.in, a private sale e-commerce company backed by Accel & Tiger which was acquired by Myntra. Prior to launching the fund, Anu was CEO of Doonya for two years where she scaled the business nationally, raised an initial round of growth capital & created a business development strategy positioning the company as "ZUMBA 2.0." She is a Board Observer for ELOQUII, Maven Clinic, & Landit, & a Board Member for WinkyLux & The Rubin Museum of Art. She holds an MBA from London Business School & a BA from Vassar College.

Lydia is a senior member of the investment team at SoftBank Investment Advisors where she focuses on investing in consumer internet, fintech & robotics companies on a global basis. Lydia joined SoftBank in 2015 where she has led or been actively involved in over a dozen investments across the US & Asia, including SoftBank's eCommerce investments: Fanatics, Flipkart, Coupang, Tokopedia Fair & Fetch Robotics. Prior to joining SoftBank, Lydia spent six years at M/C Partners, a growth equity firm focused on the communications, media & information technology sectors, where she invested out of M/C funds IV, V & VI. Lydia began her investment career at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area where she was actively involved in investments across the technology & media sectors. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Lydia was an Investment Banking Analyst at JPMorgan. Lydia holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business & a BA from Smith College. She is also a graduate of the London School of Economics. Lydia is on the Venture Advisory Board of Silicon Valley Bank & is actively involved in several initiatives to promote the advancement of women in venture capital & technology.
