The SOSV Deep Tech Summit (Nov. 4-6) is free to all participants, completely online, & encompasses three broad areas, climate tech, human health, & AI in the physical world. Top founders, VCs, & scientists are appearing on panels & in fireside chats expertly moderated by journalists & others. Based on attendance at our past summits, SOSV expects more than 5,000 attendees this year. Alongside the summit, SOSV is also hosting a Deep Tech VC-Founder Matchup & Co-Founder Search event. The producers of the Summit are SOSV's Ned Desmond, Ben Joffe, & Norm Amandi.

The SOSV Deep Tech Summit brings those themes together over three days of programming featuring climate tech, human health, & AI in physical world. SOSV's goal is to deepen venture, academic, corporate, & media understanding of the accomplishments & world-changing potential of startups in deep tech, whether that's new pathways to cure cancer, more climate friendly technologies to generate & store energy, robotic systems to take on physical work, or applying AI to develop more heat-resistant crop strains.
Speaker selection for the Summit starts with SOSV's extensive networks & expertise in many areas of deep tech-thanks to our three deeply resourced programs in New York (SOSV NY), San Fransisco (SOSV SF), & Newark ( SOSV HAX)-and the 1000+ investors in our portfolio companies. The majority of speakers, however, draw from the broader deep tech ecosystem, not SOSV's portfolio.
