Kevin Christoffersen has been working in just about every form of media for nearly 3 decades - producing content internationally across 4 continents while living in 5 countries. He is an Educator & Development Executive of, Film StartUp. In this role, Kevin guides filmmakers through the A to Z feature film development process with workshop courses, development labs, webinars & consultations.
Eli Zavala, Founder - La Filmadora
Eli Zavala is the founder of La Filmadora (www.lafilmadora.com), the creative home for artists of underrepresented backgrounds, & a special hub for Hispanic & Latin storytellers, focused on creating & promoting content that is always culturally authentic & never stereotyping; she's also part of Splinter Pictures (www.splinterpictures.com) , a NYC based film production company focused on creating highly artistic & character-driven stories; Eli is currently the Chairwoman of Cinematogrfica y Escnica de Mxico (www.cem-ac.org) a LatAm non for profit with the mission of bringing better representation -and fighting misrepresentations- of minorities on the screen. Her areas of expertise are film production, distribution, programming & promotion...Oh! when a script & a character are interesting enough, she also works in front of the camera as a performer. Eli is just passionate about films & great storytelling!

What is the cost to attend: Register before September 6th to Attend for FREE.
What else do I need to know:
There is a Two Drink Minimum (gratuity will be added on).
There will be subject matter experts (known as event mentors) available to answer questions specific to producing, directing, development, & distribution/film festivals.
We will be giving away copies of FINAL DRAFT 12 to a couple of lucky attendees! Names to be drawn at the event. You must be present to win.
This event is a collaboration of several film organizations to help provide networking & knowledge.
