Jamaican-born Berry spent the majority of the past decade leading teams designing & developing global brands, helping scale them to more than $200M USD in revenue.nIn 2019, Berry widened her scope to include Web3 by advising brands on how best to enter the world of NFTs & the Metaverse. Berry co-founded the award-winning studio People of Crypto in 2022 with an aim at driving diversity & inclusive forward through Web3 storytelling.nMarissa KimnMarissa is Managing Partner at Abra Capital Management, a leading cryptocurrency wealth management platform thatleverages DeFi & institutional risk management expertise to provide clients with an edge across trading, lending, borrowing & investing.Marissa is also a general partner of two venture funds focused on investing in early-stage Web 3 companies.nShe started her career as a lawyer in investment management at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, & Flom LLP, where she worked closely with BlackRock & many other big asset managers, & has also held senior roles at several consumer technology start-ups.nMaggie LovenMaggie is the Founder of SheFi, which empowers professional women & non-binary folks to master Web3 in 13 weeks. Its a cohort-based educational program with live instruction, hands-on tech demos, & peer support, all aimed at accelerating careers in Web3 & AI. SheFi also produces large-scale events called SheFi Summit, offers dedicated career support & provides education to corporate organizations. Some corporate clients of SheFi include Fidelitys Center for Applied Technology, Google & United Talent Agency. To date, 2,900 members have enrolled in SheFi from 90+ countries.nMaggie joined the Web3 space full time in 2017. Prior to SheFi, she co-founded W3BCLOUD, a joint venture between ConsenSys & Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) to build a gpu-based cloud computing platform for blockchain & AI workloads. She also was on the founding team of Cellarius, a science fiction universe on the blockchain. While at ConsenSys, she drove ventures, partnerships, & client engagements.nHadas A. JacobinHadas is a Counsel in Reed Smith LLP's Financial Industry Group & advises banks, money services businesses, payments companies, digitalassetand blockchain-based service providers, FinTech companies, investment management firms, funds & other financial services providers on a variety of regulatory compliance issues including federal & state licensing, regulatory examinations & enforcement, AML/CFT laws & regulations & the Corporate Transparency Act.nShe hasexpertiseadvising on regulatory risks & obligations applicable to emerging technologiesas well ascybersecurity compliance, incident response & data governancematters.Hadas has an extensive background in financial regulation, having spent 8 years as an attorney at the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) where she served as both a Senior Assistant Deputy Superintendent in the Consumer Protection & Financial Enforcement Division & a Senior Attorney in the Department's Office of General Counsel.nThis event is a part of #TechWeek - a week of events hosted by VCs & startups to bring together the tech ecosystem.
