*This event is open to NYU Students, Staff, & Faculty only.
In the workshop, participants will learn the basics of Figma, a cloud-based design tool. Figma has all the same great features as Sketch, but has real-time collaboration capabilities built in & can be run in a web browser.
This workshop will walk participants through the Figma interface & show them how to create UX prototypes for websites & mobile apps. There will be a hands on component that gives participants the practice they need to start using Figma for their own projects, from rapid prototyping to final designs.
Requirements: Participants must bring their laptops, have Google Chrome, & have signed up for a FREE Figma account: https://www.figma.com/
*This workshop is open to all current NYU student, staff, & faculty & will take place in-person at the NYU MakerSpace located in the Tandon School of Engineering on the downtown Brooklyn campus.*
