In this panel, we will explore the role that restorative justice practices (RJP) can play both in & outside the higher education Title IX process to address harm in the aftermath of sexual violence. Dr. Amy Miele & Dr. Julie Shackford-Bradley will share their experiences with restorative justice & Title IX; what they have learned regarding the impact on survivors/victims; & the ways that accused & responsible parties can take accountability, make amends, & rebuild trust within their community.
Join Perdita Das-Humphrey, the Assistant Dean at Cornell University's Hans Bethe House, for the third event of a five-part series. This conversation is part of a larger series that delves into the practical & theoretical frameworks of RJP within college & university settings.
