Lily Wound, a partner in Goodwin's Technology & Life Sciences group, has extensive experience representing pharmaceutical, biotechnology, & other life sciences companies in a wide range of complex commercial, corporate, & licensing transactions, including those involving gene therapy, gene editing, engineered cell therapy, & genomic testing. Her roster of domestic & international clients extends to the healthcare, healthcare information & technology, cosmetics, publishing, media, internet, software, & technology industries.
Ms. Wound joined Goodwin in 2019 from WilmerHale, where she served as counsel. She has also served as in-house counsel at Hearst Corporation, where she advised on all aspects of Hearst's businesses relating to healthcare information & technology, traditional media, new media, & digital media.

Roger A. Cohen is a partner in Goodwin's nationally recognized Life Sciences practice. He counsels healthcare services, life sciences, & healthcare IT clients concerning compliance with the myriad laws & regulations governing the delivery of healthcare services such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Physician Self-Referral Law (the Stark Law), the False Claims Act, the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Medicare & Medicaid rules & regulations, & laws governing reimbursement, licensure & certification.

Maayan Roth is vice president of engineering for research at Flatiron Health, where she leads the software engineering teams that focus on the technology & infrastructure that enable the processing, curation & development of the company's real-world datasets & other related offerings. Maayan's teams build tools that run the gamut from interfaces for human data curation, to machine learning systems that improve data accuracy & reliability, to platforms that enable researchers to explore Flatiron's datasets & answer scientific questions.
Before joining Flatiron, Maayan was at Google, where she led a team focused on fighting spam & improving the quality of user reviews in Google Maps. She was also part of the team that mapped the implicit social graph formed by user interactions in Google properties such as Gmail & Calendar, used for improving the quality of email address autocomplete & other personalization algorithms. She holds a BS in computer science & a PhD in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
