As the Head of Outreach at YC, Kat participates in funding & supporting over 800 startups every year. Kat has been at YC since 2013 & has seen over 3,000 companies go through the program. Previously, Kat was Chief of Staff to Alexis Ohanian (co-founder of reddit & investor), & prior to that, she was at WIRED Magazine. Kat graduated from Northwestern University, grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area & was born in the Philippines.

Nick is the founder of Ghost Works where he helps brands communicate better through PR, content, digital advertising & brand marketing.
He's both a recovering business journalist & a recovering restaurateur, having covered travel & hospitality at tnooz & owned two restaurants in New Orleans. He was also the Senior Brand Journalist at travel tech company Sabre, where he pulled together content & communications from across the global organization.
