Lead by Joan Wang, Data Scientist & instructor here at Metis, this session will introduce you to a supervised machine learning algorithm used for classification & regression, which is commonly known as decision trees. Come learn the fundamentals of tree-based methods, including an extension into Random Forests.
Attendees of this workshop will:
- Understand the use of CART models in machine learning
- See how CART models are trained with existing data & make predictions on new data
- Learn the relationship between Random Forests & CART
