Alex Tsankov is a Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer at Bloomberg, where he leads infrastructure efforts for operationalizing large language models within the Bloomberg Law product suite. With over a decade of experience spanning software engineering, site reliability, & AI/ML operations, Alex specializes in building scalable, secure systems that bring GenAI from prototype to production. He has helped architect Bloomberg's internal LLM Gateway platform, benchmarked foundational models against real-world legal tasks, & deployed extensive ML infrastructure using Kubernetes, DGX clusters, & multi-cloud environments. Alex holds degrees in Computer Science & Philosophy from the University of Colorado & a Master's in Public Administration from Columbia University.
