Meet the Speaker: Surabhi Shastri
Surabhi Shastri is a Senior Product Manager at eBay NYC, where she works with an amazing team, to build personalized recommendations for over 170M users on eBay's homepage, apps & emails. She also helps users discover unique & relevant items from over 1B live items. Prior to this, she was Head of Data Products at Saavn, South Asia's largest music streaming service with over 20M users. There she launched the first algorithmic music playlists on the app & the first product for artists in South Asia to use their data to plan concerts & grow. She started working on algorithmic products in undergrad where she spent a year coding & optimizing a speech recognition model for a public railway booking platform. Surabhi got her MBA from Columbia Business School & her Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
