Navigating the Regulatory Landscape

As the corporate landscape continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, in-house lawyers & board members face increasingly complex business, regulatory, & geopolitical challenges. Join us for an hour-long fireside chat between faculty members LizAnn Eisen & Charles Whitehead. Prior to entering academia, Chuck held senior legal & business positions at several large financial services firms, including Nomura Securities International & Citigroup. His current research focuses on securities regulation, including crypto, & corporate governance.

This program is the second in a series leading up to eCornell's executive education certificate programs in June & October. For more details, see the General Counsel Summit: Strategic Leadership Program in NYC & the 2024 Board of Directors Forum.

Professors Eisen & Whitehead will discuss the current state of crypto regulation, lessons he has learned over the years, including ways to successfully work as an in-house legal practitioner, how to approach regulatory issues from both a compliant & practical manner, & how to prepare for unexpected events like regulatory inquiries, & managing relationships with the senior leadership team including the CEO & the board. This discussion will help attendees elevate their skills in their role & make their organizations more efficient & effective.
