Building high-performance, dynamic web applications requires going past some of the core features of Django. Sometimes it means using a NoSQL store instead of postgres or an MVC js framework. Our speakers tonight, Andrew Kelleher of BuzzFeed as well as Mark Chackerian and Simon Robb of Architizer will discuss their experience using MongoDB, the Django Rest Framework and AngularJS.

We will also have time for several lightning talks (~ 5 minutes) so come prepared to describe something that interested you.
