Dashboards are incredibly useful in a variety of industries. They provide incredible visual insight into applications functionalities & are a great way to measure metrics, visualize data, get alerted with updates & drill down into important details all in one place. Creating effective dashboards for your API driven applications can get pretty tricky & might require a lot of effort & front-end development knowledge. However, Node-REDs UI nodes makes it effective & easy for anyone to create informative visualizations & within minutes.

Node-RED is a flow-based programming environment from the JS Foundation. It provides a palette of nodes that allow users to very quickly wire up IoT applications, APIS & web services that can combine streams of both physical & digital events. Its Node.JS runtime is easy to install on both devices & the cloud & provides a framework for extending its capabilities. In this workshop, we will learn the basics of Node-RED's core features, learn how we can use Node-RED to create dashboards, & visualize data.

By the end of this talk you should be able to walk away with:

- Overall Understanding of Node-RED
- Hands on training with creating flows in Node-RED
- Creating dashboards & visualizing data
- Visualizing AI services within Dashboards

630pm - doors open, pizza, drinks, & networking
