All Star Code's Spring Celebration is a cocktail event featuring interactive demonstrations by All Star Code students. All Star Code is one of just a few organizations that prepares young Black & Latino men for careers in the innovation economy. Unlike most coding programs, All Star Code does not solely focus on computer science, we also teach the soft skills that are necessary to launch a career in the growing technology sector.
Over the past six years, All Star Code has created a powerful, self-reinforcing alumni network where students can celebrate failures & promote their success in a safe & supportive space. We are so proud of all of our young men, 95% of our college-age students have matriculated to four-year colleges, over a third of which are top 100-ranked universities. Over 80% of our students are majoring, or plan to major, in computer science or a related field.
In addition to celebrating our students we will recognize & honor All Star Code's original supporters as well as new allies. We are honored to celebrate six years of success & look forward to all of the exciting opportunities to come.
