Where is the future of crypto payments in the real-world heading?
FreePay is an open-source NFC tap-to-pay terminal that lets merchants accept crypto directly from MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet-bypassing card networks & their typical ~1-2% fees (blockchain network fees still apply).
x402 is Coinbase's chain-agnostic payment protocol built on HTTP 402 Payment Required, enabling instant, pay-per-use stablecoin payments (e.g., USDC) within APIs & agent workflows.
