Austin represents both private and public companies in the technology and life sciences sectors. He joined Goodwin Procter in 2010.</P>
<P>Austin has been counsel to numerous software, healthcare, medical device and other technology companies from incorporation through venture funding and final exit, including advising on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property issues, IT outsourcing arrangements, joint ventures and other matters. A significant portion of his practice is capital markets work for investmentbanks, having represented market leaders such as Citi, Credit-Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in connection with public offerings and follow-on offerings of technology companies. He also has worked for leading venture capital firms in connection with their investments in technology, biotech and medical device companies.</P>
<P>Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Austin was a partner at Ropes & Gray, where he practiced for 16 years, including three years in its San Francisco office. A member of the Boston, California and American Bar Associations, Austin is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York and California.<BR></P>

StarVest is the largest women-owned Venture Capital firm in the US with over $400 million under management. Prior to StarVest, Ms. Boyd was Managing Director of Highbrige Principals Strategies and primarily focused on ecommerce, digital media and advertising technologies. Prior to joining Highbridge in 2008, Ms. Boyd was a Managing Director with Bear Stearns. In the past, she has been a board member at Widevine, Webify, Siperian and K12, each of which was successfully exited. She also led the investment in Capital IQ which was sold to McGraw-Hill. Previously, Ms. Boyd was an investment banker at Patricof & Co. and First Union. Ms. Boyd received a BA in Mathematical Economics, summa cum laude, from Colgate University, where she was a Charles A. Dana Scholar.</P>

An integral player at Canaan, he opened our NYC office, creating an invigorating environment for entrepreneurs. Warren led Canaan's investments in Associated Content (acq. by Yahoo), the Web's leading open content publishing platform; blip (acq. by Maker Studios), the best place to discover the best in original Web series; and Peer39 (acq. by DG), an online semantic advertising company. An early investor in Tremor Video (TRMR), the leading provider of technology-driven video advertising, Warren continues to serve on their board, and also on the boards of Artspace, a new marketplace changing the way the world experiences art, and onefinestay, the "unhotel."</P>
<P>Warren has spent most of his career in venture capital. Prior to Canaan, he worked at Comcast Interactive Capital, where he led their investments in several leading technology startups, including Arbor Networks (acq. by Tektronix for $220 million), Arroyo Video Solutions (acq. by Cisco for $92 million), Broadbus Technologies (acq. by Motorola for $186 million), CommunityConnect (acq.by Radio One), Counterpane Internet Security (acq. by British Telecom for $70 million), ReefEdge (acq. by Symantec), and Tripwire (acq. by Bravo Thomson for $180 million). Before joining the venture industry, Warren worked as an engineer and project manager at Solectron, a business development director at Sun Microsystems, a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, and an investment banker in Alex Brown's technology group.</P>
<P>Warren holds a BS in computer science and BA in economics with honors from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School. He is also on the board of NYVCA, the Venture Capital Association for NYC. A big advocate of fostering the startup scene, Warren co-organizes the NYC Turing Fellows Program, which matches outstanding computer science and engineering students from across the U.S. and Canada to paid summer internships with leading technology startups in NYC.<BR></P>
<P><STRONG>Chip Meakem, General Partner, Tribeca Venture Partners</STRONG><BR><IMG STYLE="float: left; margin: 5px;" TITLE="Chip Meakem, General Partner, Tribeca Venture Partners" SRC="https://evbdn.eventbrite.com/s3-s3/eventlogos/2439005/1317841200largechip.jpg" ALT="Chip Meakem, General Partner, Tribeca Venture Partners" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="100">Chip has been operating and investing in NYC companies since 1996 and has been a founder, operating executive or lead investor of several leading NYC companies including 24/7 Media, N2K, NimbleTV, Massive Inc., Ideeli and Appnexus.</P>
<P>Prioring to co-founding Tribeca Venture Partners, Chip was a Managing Partner at Kodiak Venture Partners. Chip serves on the Board of Directors of several of his Kodiak investments including Appnexus, Ideeli, LiveGamer, and TRA Global.</P>
<P>Chip joined Kodiak from Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham. At DFJ Gotham Chip led investments and served on the boards of ContextWeb; Ingenio (acquired by AT&T); Massive Inc. (acquired by Microsoft); NanoOpto; Pantero (acquired by Progress Software); Practical Engineering; Q-Link Technologies (acquired by Adobe Systems); and Quantiva (acquired by NetScout Systems). Chip was also a personal seed investor in FreeMarkets Inc., which made its IPO in December 1999 and peaked at $12B market cap.</P>
<P>Before moving to the Venture side, Chip was a founding employee at Interactive Imaginations where he started the Commonwealth Network (launched in Q1, 1996), one of the Internet's first advertising networks, building it from a concept to top 10 media property with 10,000 sites. Interactive Imaginations eventually became 24/7 Media and went public in 1998. Chip also worked at N2k and was responsible for strategic distribution partnerships for the leading music e-tailer.</P>
<P>Chip holds a B.A. from Cornell University, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.<BR></P>
<P STYLE="outline: 0px; font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit;"><STRONG>Ryan Ziegler, Partner, Edison Venture Partners</STRONG><BR><IMG STYLE="float: left; margin: 5px;" TITLE="Ryan Ziegler, Partner, Edison Venture Partners" SRC="https://evbdn.eventbrite.com/s3-s3/eventlogos/2439005/ryan2.jpg" ALT="Ryan Ziegler, Partner, Edison Venture Partners" WIDTH="100" HEIGHT="98">Ryan Ziegler leads Edison's Interactive Marketing & Digital Media practice and manages early and growth-stage investments within the advertising and marketing technology, social media, mobile, data services and gaming sectors. He brings experience in finance, sales and marketing, partner development, capital formation and business strategy. He directs Edison's New York office and regional team, completing investments in emerging companies totaling over $135M invested capital.</P>
<P>Ryan sourced and evaluated new investments in dozens of Edison investments. He currently serves as a Director for Arkadium, Lifebooker, MediaBrix, Magnetic, NetProspex and Operative Media (Observer).</P>
<P>Ryan joined Edison in 2003 as Manager of Business Development to institutionalize their sourcing capabilities. He started principally investing in 2005. He built and expanded Edison's extensive network of technology executives, capital sources, corporate development and service providers generating proprietary investment opportunities. Previously, Ryan was in the financial technology space working in the Associates program with SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC).</P>
<P>Ryan participates in numerous regional technology organizations. He is co-chair of selection committee for the NYCVA Ingenuity Conference, the steering committee for the NYC Venture Connection (NYCVC) and the advisory board for the NYC Venture Summit.</P>
<P>Ryan holds both a B.S. in Business Administration & Management and a B.A. in Biology from Bucknell University.</P>
