Witness the launch of Women.NYC's groundbreaking Pivot to Growth, a set of programs & collaborations designed to empower women in career transitions & business growth across NYC's innovation hubs: Tech, Green Economy, & Life Sciences

As part of the inaugural Pivot to Growth career transition programs, Women.NYC & Brooklyn Public Library will collaborate to run BPL's LevelUP tech cycle, a transformative program crafted specifically tailored for Black Women in Tech.

This is more than just an event - it's a movement. Together, we'll celebrate the resilience, ingenuity, & sheer brilliance of Black women in Tech, while paving the way for a more equitable & inclusive future.

About LevelUP

LevelUP is a Brooklyn Public Library Business & Career Center workforce advancement program designed to support Black women get to their next stage professionally & build wealth. We provide industry-specific class instruction, mentorship, & financial coaching in 3 sequential cohorts: Real Estate Development, Financial Compliance, & Technology/Cyber Security. For 10 weeks, LevelUP Leaders are challenged in their respective cohorts to think broadly about their transferable skillsets & potential to pivot careers. We lead with the tagline "You are Your Next Step!", reminding women that when they invest in their growth, education, & overall wellness, they are unstoppable. Support for our program is provided by Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women initiative, a groundbreaking investment to positively impact the lives of at least one million Black women by 2030.
