AI, Human Expertise, & the Future of the People's Health
Artificial intelligence is transforming how we learn, make decisions, & address challenges in healthcare & population health. How can we ensure these technologies actually improve people's lives? Drawing on research & collaborations across healthcare, government, industry, & education, this talk examines the relationship between AI, human expertise, & population health. Through examples from clinical practice, public health decision-making, & education, we explore how AI reshapes professional judgment, how we develop the expertise needed to evaluate these technologies, & what individuals & institutions need to ensure AI contributes to better health.
