About our guest
Vani Rao is a Senior Director & Head of Product Management at Lighter Capital. Vani is leading the product build out of a financial analytics & capital access platform to help companies understand their financial performance, benchmark themselves against their peers, & market themselves to investors looking for companies seeking capital. Before becoming a Product Manager, Vani was a Director on Lighter Capital's Investment Team working to provide growth capital to companies through revenue based financing. Prior to her time at Lighter Capital, Vani spent 13 years in the banking sector working in Interest Rate Risk Management most recently with BBVA & prior to that with KeyBank. Vani is a CFA Charterholder & has a Master's Degree in Financial Engineering from Kent State University & a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematics & Computer Science at New York University.
