Leveling The Playing Field Through
Democratized Capital & New Perspectives

In 2017, only 2.2% of venture funding went to companies with a female CEO, a mere 0.2% went to companies led by an African-American female founder, & on average, when starting companies, male founders start with 6x more capital than female founders. Why does disparity continue to exist when capital is abundant? From equity crowdfunding, blockchain, family offices, & impact VC, what will the future of funding look like?

Join Lisa Wang, Founder of SheWorx, Rodrigo Nino, Founder of The Assemblage, Arthur Bavelas, CEO of Bavelas Family Office Group, & Catherine Ulrich, Managing Director of Firstmark Capital to discuss how new sources of capital & structures of funding can level the playing field.

Lisa Wang is a former 4x National Champion & Hall of Fame gymnast turned serial entrepreneur. She is the Founder & CEO of SheWorx, the leading global platform empowering 20,000+ women to build & scale successful companies through access to top mentors & investors.
