Join us on Friday, 11/8, for a fireside chat with Cyrus Shirazi, CEO & founder of Haven. Haven has raised $1.25M from angels like Pomp, Charlie Feng, Hari Raghavan, Eric Bahn, & many others.
Haven is a new-age accounting & tax firm that aims to put its customers' finances on autopilot. They target early stage teams & startups, offering a combination of bookkeeping, a fractional CFO, tax services, & even a service for a CEO's personal taxes.
And Cyrus is deeply familiar with the early stage startup ecosystem & fintech - he was the first biz hire at Meow (banking), an early employee at MainStreet (tax credits), was an early hire at Intellipse (conversational sales assistant), & even spent a bit of time investing at Company Ventures.
We'll chat about Cyrus' founder journey, the challenges of scaling a startup that serves startups (startups die often, after all!), & how he achieved profitability in year 1. We'll also cover his experience scaling a tech-enabled service, which comes with its own unique challenges.
